Iโll be honest - unless you tell them thereโs a specific population, setting or location you want to be at, theyโll probably assume youโre good with anywhere ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
And start those conversations early! MOST hospitals or top named facilities book their students out ATLEAST a year in advance because of the demand.
EVEN IF your program tells you to submit your top 10 locations you STILL need to verbalize in person or in email about your goals/where you want to go.
We sometimes feel like our hands are tied with fieldwork sites but thatโs not always the case. I encourage you to be bold and atleast TRY instead of assuming the answer is no.
If you have a good AFWC, they want to support your goals and get you placed at a fieldwork site that is compatible for your learning needs.
