I was talking with a co-worker the other day and he really challenged me to "let go" of imposter syndrome.
Imposters are frauds that "fake it until you make it"
YOU are not a fraud.
You went to school for X amount of years
You did your clinicals
You studied
You cried
You researched and learned all for the sake of helping your clients.
It's ok to have doubts, lack of confidence or fear of failing. but that doesn't make you an imposter.
Let's see how we can change our mindset
Imposter's make up an answer
You say "| don't know, let me find out"
Imposter's are not ethical
You know that the best care is ethical and safe care
Imposter's do not think that they are wrong
You recognize that you might mess up and that ok.
Imposter's plateau.
You learn and grow.
